Rita is principal and founder of Rhythm Strategy Consultancy (RSC), a boutique consulting firm specializing in organizational strategy, integrated marketing communications, corporate social responsibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and change management. A nationally certified and designated Woman-Owned Business (WBENC) & Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), RSC’s work is guided by the conviction that companies seeking to make a difference can do well by doing good.
Rita has more than 25 years of executive-level experience in a range of sectors, including financial services, sports, telecommunications, utilities, healthcare, and social services. She has held leadership positions in marketing communications, corporate social responsibility, and corporate communications. Working in collaboration with diverse stakeholders in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, Rita has introduced and led an array of cross-sector initiatives, programs, and campaigns that increase business impact, revenue, market share, and bottom-line results.
She has also served in key board positions for nonprofit organizations across the country and is a frequent speaker, media spokesperson, and messaging coach.
Rita earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Public Relations from The University of Texas at Austin and, as a National Urban Fellow, received a master’s degree in Public Administration with honors from Baruch College, School of Public Affairs, City University of New York.
